I've had a mulititude of them for years (read: almost my entire life) now, and each time I like my new haircut better than the one before. Plus, if you go too long w/o getting it cut, it still looks fine. They also work for wavy hair, although I don't know about curly.Christihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05369978641581682398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12843084.post-69083062858049908472007-12-19T10:59:00.000-05:002007-12-19T10:59:00.000-05:00I guess you always want what you don't have, but I...I guess you always want what you don't have, but I have always looked at your hair and envied it so much. My hair has always been stick straight and super thin. I've always wanted long gorgeous curly hair and that won't ever happen without extensions. I personally can't see you with a bob or really short hair. I think you should keep it, maybe cut 2-3 inches off to get rid of some damage and just try some products to bring the life back. If your in the mood for a change you could by a straight iron, but that wouldn't help with the easy to do factor, which I know is a must being a busy mom!JT, Carly, Boston, and Snuggleshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17162076588586898679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12843084.post-12558191381836447172007-12-19T00:35:00.000-05:002007-12-19T00:35:00.000-05:00I'm also stuck in the tying it up in a knot rut. ...I'm also stuck in the tying it up in a knot rut. I REALLY need a hair cut, but haven't decided what I want yet. Funny you posted this, because I am seriously getting it cut soon and wanted to a before/after shot. Recently I saw on Oprah where they were giving all this people hair cuts. Hillary Swank donated 9 inches to Pantene's Beautiful lengths. I measured my hair and I could donate 18 INCHES and STILL have shoulder length hair!! The layers can flip up or be curly depending on what I want. No bangs, though.

I'm not sure a bob would work on a round face, but I'm not good with stuff like that. So please, share the after picture (although I must say I like your before picture--it beats mine by miles!). I agree with the bob, by the way (and I love Katie Holmes new haircut, but I agree with Carly, go with what's easy considering your natural curls). Good luck!shaunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11742270945335370549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12843084.post-54657090786211883352007-12-18T11:48:00.000-05:002007-12-18T11:48:00.000-05:00Hey! Um, nothing to add to the hair conversation, except that my sister had this amazing Pantene Hair Mask the last time I visited that was a fantastic deep conditioner. Good stuff.

And I saw your comment on latest entry, and I reponded to your comment, but I'm cutting and pasting here because I want to make sure you see it:

You totally haven't said ANYTHING wrong! They've got tons of UPDATED MODERN styles (sorry for the yelling. I've always had a hard time finding un-80's-like photos of hair cuts, and I change my hair all the time).

I think you'd do wonderfully with a slightly-angled bob. Little (if any) style necessary. Always flattering. And a multitude of lengths available.

I find the biggest problem people (read: women!) have with their hair is they try to change what's happening naturally. If your hair is curly, get a curl-friendly hair cut. Vice versa on straight or wavy. You will save yourself oodles of time, energy, money on styling products, not to mention stress.

Since I just accepted my naturally wavy, thick, cow-licky hair, I've been a much happier woman.

You will feel wonderful after, K! There's nothing like a good cut to lift the spirits and re-energize yourself.

ps -- a good stylist helps enormously, too. I've got a great local one, if you need it.Carlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18059852155891559776noreply@blogger.com
