I don't know how common it is in the US, but I think it's starting to become part of the standard care in Europe. I love ultrasounds! They just have a way of making a baby seem so much more real.<BR/><BR/>When I was pregnant with Nikki (our first) I had a bad scare early on involving a lot of bleeding. After that, I prayed and prayed that I would feel her move soon so that I would have reassurance. Everyone told me not to expect movement until close to 20 weeks (with a first pregnancy), but I started feeling her move around 15 weeks.
